Fort armored main 49a Dłubnia

One of the forts Krakow. It was built between 1892-1896. His task was to protect the valley Dłubnia, helped him forts: 49 Krzesławice and 48a Mistrzejowice. Earthworks fort was Fort 49 ¼ Grębałów and Fort 49 Krzesławice.
Fort did not participate in combat during the First World War. In the interwar period he remained in the hands of the army. During World War II, or immediately after, armored towers were scrapped. After World War II, until 1990, the fort served as a warehouse.
The property is located at ul. S. Petofi in Krakow.
